ACTIVITY MAY 27, 2017 FROM THE MUNICIPALITY OF BEZAS (Teruel)

The municipality of Bezas is located in the province of Teruel, beloging the region of Sierra de Albarracin and within the protected area of the Pinares de Rodeno. It has an extension of 26,32 km2and a population of 65 inhabitans (I.N.E. 2016) which is equivalent to a population density of 2,47 inhabitans/km2.

In this second activity of the day we were located next to the river at the beginning of the GR-10 that takes you to the lagoon of Bezas. we had very bad propagation we only did 130 qsos, we used in this occasion the callsign EA5TW being the operators EA5AT J.Fernando and EA5TW Alfonso, we were scheduled to stay at a restaurant in the town finding the closed sign and decided to go to eat at Cascante del Rio after locating the restaurant of the town we also find the sign of closed having to go back and eat to the nearby town of VILLEL we ate at the restaurant La Fonda arriving very late but at last we could eat, then you can see some photos of activity.

The municipality of Cascante del Rio ,is located in the province of Teruel old aragonese village (it was settled in 1198, it belonged to Ruiz de Castelblanque y Fernández de Heredia) belonging to the region of Teruel. It is located 22,4 km from the capital, in the Iberian system along the Camarena river , a tributary of the Guadalaviar (Turia) from Teruel, between Valacloche and Villel, has an extension of 32 km2 located at 984 meters of altitude and counts with a population of 74 inhabitans (I.N.E. 2016).

Fuentepiñel is a municipality in the province of Segovia located in the northern area of the province, belonging to the Autonomous Community of Castilla-Leon, has an area of 12,03 km2 and a population of 97 inhabitans (I.N.E.2016) which equates to a ratio of 8,06 inhabitans/km2.

As this municipality was very close to my first activity of the day from Fuente El Olmo de Fuentidueña I put this small municipality on the air, use the call sign EA1DX having a very unstable spread even though and despite having been activated before I leave it with 153 endorsements after my activity, hoping to have given satisfaction to the majority of the radio amateurs that are looking for new municipalities to be incorporated into their particular account of the Diploma Municipalities of Spain DME , below you can see some photos of this activity.
